Attempting to discuss the US VP's office obviously had the makings of a political crisis.
The US was settled through the 17th and 18th centuries, through what was largely a "gracious, friendly approach" towards the Native Americans from those settling there.
Thus, the White House, including the US VP's office, the US Congress, all US Govt officials, had politically correct stances towards and amiable relationship with the Native Americans.
The problematic aspects of Native American history were often brought to Antara's notice through YouTube videos. These usually involved representatives of the US Govt, they had discovered oil in certain parts of the US, were negotiating for land purchase, trying to push the Native Americans into 'reservations'.
These YouTube videos were apparently cleared by the White House as well as 10 Downing, Antara didn't go looking for them.
'The US Govt found oil--pushed Native Americans into reservations' was what she'd put down in her lease proposal, she wouldn't undertake any research or investigation into these matters, unless the White House wanted to revisit its stance/narrative on Native Americans.
Would it want to do so? Wait and see.
One of the reasons the repression was instantaneous on the evening of July 25, 2026, was the Native American Keetoowah Nighthawk Society, an organisation that apparently 'ran' networks in India all through the 20th century.
It seemed Antara's maternal grandfather had got caught in its intrigues (Class Act 'Rudolf and the Bolsheviks; Gagarin; what was left', July 25, 2026).
What a quiet maneuver out of 'lima beans in the diet' theory, something Antara had been reading about since 2008, before she had joined HT.
If you knew about Native American networks within India, why did you start the 'lima beans in the diet' propaganda?
If you knew Native Americans had extensive networks within India to insult the legit lease or even the Indian networks, why were you hunting European networks at Kalkaji through 2024?
You wanted Native Americans to destroy all other global networks?
Such faith in their ferocity? Or in the financiers that were backing them?
As it happened, Antara knew one of the families in Purulia that worked for the Keetoowah Nighthawk Society (a younger female in the family was called Keetoo, they were from Ranchi and Purulia).
Antara had studied at that homestead (taken private lessons) for her English Honours admission tests in Kolkata, she was recommended the four-volume History of English Literature by David Daiches, what was apparently taught at Viswa Bharati University (Tagore) if you studied there.
Antara didn't like being challenged by books bound in red cloth, come on, it was fabric, not hide or crocodile skin.
When Antara joined Brabourne as an English Honours undergraduate, she went to the bookstore on campus, ordering all four volumes of David Daiches' literary history.
"All four? Together? You're sure?" the Bengali female who 'minded' the bookstore had said. "There might be other reference books, recommended through the rest of the course."
Antara bought all four volumes of David Daiches, never requisitioned any other book on the History of English Literature from Brabourne's library. She studied nothing but David Daiches, written in a dense, convoluted fashion, breaking apart the sentences for more cogent thought during the exams.
It worked out well for her.
If the judicial aspects of the US Govt turned the Nuremberg Trials into convoluted arguments for use by Native Americans, it allowed the latter to 'run' networks within India.
DoJ, Bureau, law-givers, Bharara, Patel, all solved.
What was next?

The sibling thought that India had a pleasant climate system because of the northern barriers/Himalayas, it protected India from wintry weather.
If there were no hills (lest anyone got respite!) winter would set on early.
Antara spent her early childhood in north Bengal but didn't go to the seaside till middle school, "and remember it was a Bay (Bay of Bengal), not a sea or ocean," Anjali had said.
So the British were unlikely to get involved because of the way the 2021 Afghanistan evacuation had worked out, how would DoJ console the NRIs?

If Antara would proceed with the M1942/'otol-potol' intrigues?
Brabourne Hostel had a 'sick diet' for those unwell, boiled dal, one boiled potato, one boiled pointed gourd/'potol'.
The Jamshedpur girl had once put Antara on that diet, the latter was down with fever.
"They serve it separately, don't go down to the dining room at the lunch bell, go half an hour later."
Antara did as told and asked for the 'sick meal' at the kitchen, "don't sit at your regular table", the matrons advised, Antara was made to sit where Madhumita, Durba, Dolon, Sukla etc usually sat, they had vacated their table and left for college by then.
Thus, it was your choice, Antara didn't mind discussing M1942 once you had left for better pastures.
