BT answers. (If you were at Evian-les-Bains, or part of the AAP backup team at Covasna, Romania.)

Worthies told each other, "So that was what Brabourne was like before the 'silting' action."

The worthies suspected Indian men, those that paid scant attention to the Treasury, and had complicated patience with Indian females.

As usual, the motor-boats and steamships were ignored, including within India. It was as if they didn't exist.

Why would the latter seem more likely?

These young women were situated within a context, "the 1980s and 1990s, leading to 2001-2003".

Suddenly taking them to the 1930s context would mean disaster for some (Antara included) and confusion and being directionless for the others.

If you drove any vehicle, including a motor-boat, you must have context and direction.

You were asking what happened to the focused academic pursuit?

Oh, that was for the visitors, if these ever turned up, to confirm certain historical realities, which were accepted till the other day

Brabourne Hostel had two large adjoining Visitors' Rooms, long dark brown tables with accompanying chairs.

Visiting hours were from 4.30 pm to 6 pm on weekdays.

Once the visitors had left, there were enough young women who took their textbooks, notebooks, instruments down to the Visitors' Room and studied there. Large, tall windows on all sides, well-ventilated as well.

Ever flew on an aeroplane, the young woman who had mentored Antara for a while (for English Honours) had asked her.

Antara had replied she hadn't done so.

"The rivers of northern India, especially the Ganges, it looked amazing, like a narrow thread."

Those who had flown in aeroplanes would know that the rivers were not visible because of the cloud cover beneath the aircraft.

There was no information with the females, they thought the imminent attack on American capitalism (the one on Sept 11, 2001) was responsible for it

Hence they took to the Visitors' Room.

No one seemed so forlorn or despondent within Brabourne Hostel?

The college offered discounts on railway travel during vacations, it was announced on the bulletin board, you had to fill in a form with the photocopy of the railway ticket, you'd be reimbursed after the vacation.

That one was beginning to look like an awfully prolonged vacation, and there was no college/institution that maintained a relationship with railroads.

Antara managed on behalf of Brabourne for a while after the 9/11 attacks, from 2001-2005.

She bought an Indian Railways guide, memorised the names of the trains, the railways maps and routes, stations and their stoppage times.

Without her narrative, it was her first understanding of the Nazi Holocaust imagery.

"If we visited the sibling (then in northern Karnataka), we'd have to travel through central India, Ajit might fall sick during the journey. Once we reached Mumbai CST, in the morning, we'd have to wait through the day till the late-evening/overnight Konkan Railway connecting train to northern Karnataka.

A partially-blind old pensioner and his just grown-up university graduate daughter, sitting at Mumbai CST, through the day," Antara had told her parents.

Why the Nazi Holocaust was difficult to prevent from Purulia, India.

What was that with the toilet rolls?

These Indians had heard of Bengalis settled in the Bay Area of California, in the 1990s, that wanted a West Bengal-based Treasury. They must have got a scare, the same girl got a mountain bicycle to the Brabourne Hostel Junior College dorm, kept it leaning against her bed, she pushed it to college in the morning, then bicycled round the Brabourne campus.

Why were we progressing in a way that seemed hostile to the West Bengal Govt?

Antara had waited for decades to "create the atmosphere" of where she grew up, her parents were not interested, her spouse didn't even know her nickname nor showed any interest in her life, colleagues were only interested in humiliating her, Delhi thought she was shy about provocative clothes.

"I come from a different place" was the reason for the blogposts, once she saw how the NRIs were using that argument within the United States.

If particular needs became apparent, software companies could devise apps out of it, for services, provisions etc.

Antara had been left in the lurch by western Europeans, especially Germans, she might use a service provider just to discuss matters important to her. It would take a while though, that service provider couldn't be prevented from meeting her, given her previous existence was lost to her.

You've put her on a Chinese blacklist because of her opposition to Soviet KI?

Antara solved the German lease, what it meant for tech professionals etc, and how it connected to cricket and the Bombay Tournament.

What was Bombay Tournament doing in 1927 though?

Why did it have to take shelter with the British?

The US military was crowded with lease supporters, hence? After all that planning using cricket matches?

Next time, take shelter with China?
